Maritime Museums
Baltimore's floating maritime museum will transport you back in time as it takes you through the narrow halls where you can see the remains of historic ships that dock at the Inner Harbor.
The USS Constellation, which was built in 1854 by the U.S. Navy and is the only Civil War-era ship left standing, is the highlight. This well-preserved museum vessel is now a National Historic Landmark and offers exciting tours for visitors of all ages.
There are many other historic ships that dock at the harbor. Each one has played a part in the nation's history.
